Re-Awarded Excellence Through People Certification
Synergy Security Solutions is proud to have once again been awarded Excellence Through People certification by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), recognising our continued commitment to our people, their development and the standards that underpin our organisation.
For Synergy, this is much more than another certification.
With a workforce of more than 1,500 people, operating across a diverse range of customer environments throughout Ireland, the continued development, engagement and wellbeing of our people is fundamental to the service we provide.
Excellence Through People
Excellence Through People (ETP) is Ireland's national standard for human resource development and provides organisations with a structured framework for continuously improving how they manage, develop and engage their people.
The NSAI assessment considers five key areas:

Human Resource Systems & Employee Wellbeing
Successfully retaining our certification provides independent recognition of the systems, processes and culture Synergy has continued to develop across these areas.
Our People at the Centre
Security is fundamentally a people business.
Technology, systems and processes play an increasingly important role in modern security operations, but ultimately it is our people who represent Synergy every day.
They are the Security Officers protecting our customers' people and properties, the Reception and Concierge teams creating the first impression at customer locations, our Mobile Security Officers responding throughout the country, our Control Room teams providing 24/7 operational support, and the managers and support teams working behind the scenes.
Our responsibility is to ensure those people are properly supported, trained, communicated with and given opportunities to develop.
Excellence Through People provides an important external benchmark against which we can continually assess that commitment.
Learning Never Stops
Training and development continues to be a significant area of investment for Synergy.
Through Synergy Grow, our digital Learning Management System, employees have access to structured learning throughout their career with the organisation.
This extends beyond initial induction and mandatory training to include ongoing awareness, health and safety, customer service, site-specific familiarisation, management development and continuous professional development.
Our objective is simple: learning should not finish when someone completes their induction.
It should continue throughout their career.
Continuous Improvement
Being re-awarded Excellence Through People is an achievement to celebrate, but certification is not the end of the process.
The real value comes from continually reviewing how we work, listening to our people, identifying where we can improve and ensuring that our systems evolve as Synergy continues to grow.
Over more than 30 years, Synergy has developed from its Irish roots into an organisation supporting customers nationally and internationally.
