In November 2025, Synergy Security Solutions celebrated 30 years in business,  an important milestone in the history of our organisation & an opportunity to recognise the people, customers & partnerships that have shaped Synergy over three decades.

Since our establishment in 1995, the security industry has changed considerably.

Technology has transformed how security operations are managed. Customer requirements have become increasingly complex. Regulation, compliance & governance have evolved, and the role of the modern Security Officer extends far beyond the traditional perception of guarding.

Synergy has evolved alongside that changing environment.

But throughout 30 years of growth and change, one thing has remained constant:

From Irish Beginnings to a National Security Organisation

What began in 1995 has developed into one of Ireland's largest privately owned security organisations.

Today, Synergy provides security services across Ireland, supported by more than 1,500 security personnel, operational & management teams, national office locations, mobile security resources & our 24/7 Control Room.

Our capabilities have also expanded significantly.

From Manned Guarding & Mobile Patrols to Keyholding & Alarm Response, Reception & Concierge, Risk Management, Training & Development, with Control Room operations, Synergy has continually developed its services around the changing requirements of our customers.

Through our international partner network, our capabilities now extend beyond Ireland, supporting customers with security requirements across multiple international locations.

Reaching 30 years would not have been possible without our customers.

Over the years, Synergy has had the privilege of working with organisations across technology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, corporate, public-sector & critical environments.

Some relationships have developed over many years and through multiple generations of management teams.

That longevity matters to us.

The People Behind Synergy

While our organisation has grown considerably, Synergy remains fundamentally a people business.

Every day, our Security Officers, Mobile Security Officers, Reception & Concierge teams, Control Room personnel, supervisors, managers & support teams represent Synergy across customer locations throughout Ireland.

Many colleagues have built long careers within the organisation, progressing from frontline positions into supervisory, management & specialist roles.

Investment in our people continues through recruitment, training, professional development and Synergy Grow, our learning & development platform.

Our continued recognition through Excellence Through People further reflects the importance we place on developing & supporting the people behind our services.

Technology Has Changed Security

The security operation of 2025 looks very different from that of 1995.

Today, technology provides levels of visibility, accountability & operational information that would have been unimaginable when Synergy was established.

Across our operations, technology now supports workforce scheduling, attendance verification, patrol management, mobile security operations, incident reporting, employee welfare, communications & management information.

Combined with our 24/7 Control Room, these systems provide continuous operational oversight across the services we deliver.

However, our philosophy remains straightforward: Technology supports our people. It doesn't replace them.

Experienced people, supported by the right information & technology, remain at the centre of effective security.

Building a Resilient Business

Thirty years in business also means navigating periods of considerable change & disruption.

Economic cycles, technological transformation, regulatory changes, the pandemic & an increasingly complex global risk environment have all changed how organisations operate.

Our commitment to recognised standards & continuous improvement has therefore become increasingly important.

Looking Towards the Next 30 Years

Our 30th anniversary was an opportunity to celebrate where Synergy has come from.

But more importantly, it provides an opportunity to consider where we go next.

The security industry will continue to change.

Artificial intelligence, integrated security technology, critical infrastructure resilience, changing customer risks & increasing expectations around information & accountability will continue to shape our sector.

Synergy will continue to evolve with it.

We will continue investing in our people, technology, operational capabilities & customer relationships, while remaining true to the principles that have supported the organisation for the past three decades.

And as we move beyond our 30th year, our ambition remains to build a stronger, more innovative & more resilient Synergy for the future.
