When did you Join Synergy, and what attracted you to the company?  

I joined Synergy last year, I was looking to improve my professional skills and grow professionally. I would say that I saw the opportunity to start a career in a big company with a family atmosphere which would allow me to develop my knowledge further.

How has your experience with the company been since you started? 

Indescribable. Since the day I started, I have felt like one more member of the family! Everyone 

has been so helpful and always offered assistance whenever I have needed it. I encounter something new every day and am always learning new things, which is great for developing my skills within the area.

How has your role changed since joining Synergy and what skills have you learned? 

My current role is completely different in comparison to my previous expereince.I have learned a wide range of new skills in relation to payroll and accounts, focused both in Ireland and the UK. I have also become proficient in software applications I have not previously worked with before.

However,the skills I have learned since starting go beyond payroll and accounts! I’m learning every day. I have also had the opportunity to assist in training new team members within the department, this in turn has also assisted my development as I feel I have grown more and have improved professionally.

How would you describe your team?  

I have to say I am part of one of the best teams I have worked with!  I would like to take the 

chance to highlight the team, and management's help. My colleagues are very  patient with me and are always teaching me new things and always ready to have a chat with me should I need support with anything. Management have also met with me frequently to ensure everything is ok, and that no further support is required.

What do you feel is the most interesting element of your role?  

The accounts process undoubtedly. It is such a huge process and understanding all the elements that are involved is so interesting. 

Do you feel your work and efforts have been recognised? If so, How?  

Of course! I feel I have been recognized by my team every day. I am made feel as though my work is appreciated.

What advice would you provide to someone interested in joining the security Industry?   

There are a lot of opportunities throughout the security industry whether you want to work 

in an office environment or work out in the field covering the core business.
