When did you Join Synergy, and what attracted you to the company?  

I joined the company last year and was attracted to work in the security industry as I was interested in assisting in the prevention of criminal activities. Before I started, I had no experience in the Security Industry so I decided to join Synergy to gain new experience and further my knowledge.

How has your experience with the company been since you started? 

My experience with the company has been very positive. As I am not native English speaker, one of the greatest benefits for me was to develop my language skills. Since I started, I have gained the opportunity to learn about the security industry from my colleagues and managers, for which I am very glad!

How has your role changed since joining Synergy and what skills have you learned? 

The company gave me the opportunity to complete my basic guarding training and receive my PSA license. I can proudly say that because of Synergy Security I have become a more responsible and stronger person based on my experience and training. I learned how to deal with people and provide a quality service to our clients. Ensuring our customers feel secure is the most important part of my role for me. I definitely need to mention our Synergy Grow platform, where you get to learn and explore lots of useful content through online learning.

How would you describe your team?  

I really enjoy being a part of the Synergy Team. Knowing that I am part of the largest Irish Security company is very interesting and rewarding for me. I never previously worked with such responsible, professional and experienced team members. It feels great knowing that I can ask for help and they will sort it out in few minutes. 

Do you feel your work and efforts have been recognised? If so, How?  

Definitely! Positive feedback from clients is the best recognition. We also receive feedback and rewards on our online recognition platform, which of course always keeps you motivated.

What advice would you provide to someone interested in joining the security Industry?  

 As previously mentioned, I started with no previous experience in the security industry. If someone is looking for a new step in their life or a change in career, go for it.It can change your life and you will be surprised with the opportunities you will find.
