How long have you been working with Synergy, and what attracted you to the company?
I started with Synergy in 2009. My previous experience attracted me to the security Industry.
How has your experience with the company been since you started?
Since starting with Synergy I have had the opportunity to work in a number of sectors within the security industry, allowing me to gain a wide range of experience. There are great opportunities to progress within the company!
How has your role progressed since joining Synergy?
I started working as a security officer. Once I gained further experience and knew the industry was for me I progressed to the control room, further on to rostering and currently hold the position of Operations Lead.
How would you describe your team?
My team here in Synergy is very helpful and approachable, my colleagues all come from a wide variety of backgrounds and wealth of experience to offer and learn from.
What do you feel is the most interesting element of your role?
What I find most interesting about my role is the opportunity to learn something new every day. After fourteen years, no two days have been the same.
What advice would you provide to someone interested in joining the security Industry?
From my own personal experience there are such vast opportunities within the industry! If you are interested in progressing, and are seeking professional and personal development I would highly recommend considering a career in the security Industry.
