Covid-19 Travel Restrictions
Local Travel
As an essential worker you will be permitted to travel to and from your assigned place of work. An authorisation letter will be provided by the HR team confirming you are an employee of Synergy Security Solutions and are required to travel to fulfil your duties as a frontline member of staff. Please note authorisation letters are not for personal travel purposes. Any employee deemed to be misusing the issued letter will face formal disciplinary action.
International Travel
We have updated our travel policy which follows the local government guidelines in relation to international travel restrictions. Our policy will apply to the updated guidelines as they progress. Should you be planning international travel or are currently abroad, ensure to take the following steps:
- Update HR / Line Management in relation to your planned travel details
- Provide full travel details to include any connenctions
- Review the guidelines at the time of travel including country of origin and final destination
- Submit the Covid-19 travel questionnaire
- Follow the test / self isolation guidelines upon your return

Update
As of Saturday 16th Janaury 2021 updated government guidelines state all passengers arriving into Ireland must provide a negitive Covid-19 test. The negitive test must be taken within 72 hours prior to arrival in Ireland.
EU traffic light system protocol regarding the countries of risk remains in place.
